Confirm Grubb Club Members
For in-person transactions, it's important to confirm that the customer is an ACTIVE Grubb Club member before awarding a discount.
To do so, the customer will log in to their account and show you their membership card on their phone. To confirm their membership is CURRENTLY ACTIVE, a date will be displayed above their card. PLEASE ENSURE THIS DATE IS THE CURRENT DATE AND EXACT TIME. The time will be running actively as you see in the image above. This is to prevent people from taking screenshots or sharing photos of membership cards.
The Grubb Club Vendor Program – a growing community of local eateries and businesses offering exclusive discounts to members. MEMBERS WILL SHOWCASE A DIGITAL GRUBB CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARD OR USE A CUSTOM PROMO CODE (provided by you based on your POS system) TO GET DISCOUNTS. As a participating business, you'll:
- Attract New Customers: Our members are always looking to discover new spots – your business could be their next favorite.
- Increase Repeat Business: Offer irresistible deals that keep satisfied customers coming back for more.
- Stand Out from the Crowd: Gain added visibility through our platform, social media, and member communications.
- IT'S FREE: This is free for businesses to participate in. The goal is to drive traffic to different businesses while helping consumers save some money.
Best Practices - To get the most out of the program, it's best to bring great value to the customer. While a free soda is easy to offer, it typically does not bring value to customers in a way that makes them choose you specifically. Here are a few examples of things we've seen work well in the past:
- 15-20% off of their meal or item works great (10% off will be the minimum accepted for this program)
- A free item such as appetizer or entree with purchase
- Buy one, Get one free
- A dollar amount off an item or items (i.e. $3 off any burger purchase)
- Kids eat free
- Free item to the first 50 Grubb Club members that show up on a specific date, then everyone else is discounted a percentage after
- Get creative with the offers to set yours apart
- Grubb Club timed specials. Ex: Between 4:00p-7:00p members receive special discount
Joining is simple, free, and flexible – you choose the discount, we bring the patrons. No additional hardware or software will be needed on your end. We do ask that specials/discounts run at least a month as subscribers to The Grubb Club are monthly. You may also run multiple discounts in the same month on different items. It's also great if you're able to track Grubb Club uses in your POS for data purposes.
Once accepted, you'll receive an email with the start date and any additional info needed.
