What's happening
Looking for things to do in Charlotte, NC this weekend? This is the running calendar: food festivals, night markets, concerts, tastings, and free family friendly events around the Queen City. New events get added all month, so check back often, then RSVP or grab tickets.
Charlotte gives you something every single weekend, and most of it never makes the big tourism lists. Uptown gets the arena shows and the festivals on Tryon Street. Plaza Midwood, NoDa, and South End are where the night markets, patio parties, and pop-up dinners live. Head out toward Camp North End or the West Side and you will find block parties, maker markets, and community events that fill up on word of mouth alone.
This calendar is curated by hand, the same way the old monthly things-to-do list was, just kept current instead of rewritten once a month. Free events are marked, so it works whether you are planning a whole weekend or looking for something to do tonight that costs nothing.
Know about something that belongs here? Anybody can submit an event. Local businesses, artists, and organizers use it to reach people who are already looking for plans.
Hungry while you are out? The Charlotte guide covers the local spots worth your time, the restaurant directory has hundreds of them including 200+ Black-owned kitchens, and The Grubb Club gets you member exclusive events and deals around the city.
