- What is Tha Daily Special?
- Tha Daily Special is a food and lifestyle brand sharing the best eats, hidden gems, food & drink specials, and easy recipes. Founded in Charlotte, NC in 2018 by Cory Wilkins, it now reaches food lovers worldwide and goes wherever the food takes us.
- Where are you based?
- Home base is Charlotte, North Carolina, where most of our restaurant coverage, events, and deals are centered. That said, we travel worldwide and are always down to go wherever the food takes us.
- How do I keep up with new recipes and spots?
- Follow along on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, and sign up for the newsletter so deals, events, and new recipes land right in your inbox.
Recipes & content
- Are the recipes free?
- Most are. The free recipes and guides are open to everyone. Some recipes and guides are reserved for Grubb Club members.
- How do you decide which restaurants to feature?
- If it's on the page, Cory genuinely enjoyed it. Only a small amount of the places he tries actually make it. Names, addresses, and tags are always in the post so you can find it yourself.
- Are paid posts disclosed?
- Always. Paid partnerships carry the “Paid Partnership” tag, and if free food was received you'll hear “I was invited to try.” If neither is stated, Cory spent his own money as a regular customer.
The Grubb Club
- What is The Grubb Club?
- It's our $5/month membership, a limited-time price; the standard price is $8/month. You get restaurant discounts, member-only recipes, giveaways, early event access, merch deals, and a digital membership card.
- What's the difference between a free account and The Grubb Club?
- A free account gets you the free recipes and guides, saved favorites, and the newsletter. The Grubb Club ($5/month for a limited time, standard price $8/month) adds restaurant discounts, member-only recipes and guides, giveaways, early event access, and merch deals, plus your digital membership card.
- How do I use my membership?
- Show your digital membership card at participating spots. You'll find it in your member dashboard once you join.
- Can I cancel anytime?
- Yep, cancel whenever, no strings attached. You'll keep access through the end of your billing period.
