Salmon Patties

Made with canned or fresh salmon, these patties are an easy, budget-friendly meal that’s great for busy weeknights, meal prep, or even a light brunch. Serve them with a side of cheesy grits, over a fresh salad or on a toasted bun for the ultimate salmon burger.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Double Q's Salmon
  • 1 Half Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 Half Onion
  • ¾ cup Panko/Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Eggs 1 per can of salmon
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Old Bay Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • All Purpose Seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Add salmon to a mixing bowl
  • Use hands to break salmon apart
  • Remove bones
  • Add 2 eggs
  • Add panko
  • Add seasonings
  • Use hand to mix salmon and seasonings
  • Form mixture into 4oz - 5oz balls
  • Preheat skillet
  • Add 1 - 2 tablespoons of oil to skillet
  • Add salmon ball to skillet and immediately press to form patty
  • Cook for 4 minutes on each side
