
Easy Butterswim Biscuits
These Butterswim Biscuits are irresistibly soft, golden, and baked in a pool of rich, melted butter for the ultimate comfort bite. They come together with simple ingredients, require no kneading, and deliver perfectly fluffy, buttery biscuits every time
Ingredients
- 2.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 teaspoon white sugar
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 stick melted butter (½ cup)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- To a bowl, add your flour, baking powder, sugar, salt
- Add in buttermilk and mix ingredients together until your dough forms
- In a 8x8 or 9x9 baking dish, pour in your melted butter
- Add your dough on top of the melted butter and spread evenly across the dish
- Cut your unbaked dough into 9 squares
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown on top.
- Top with a sprinkle of flakey salt (optional)
