Jack Daniels Hot Honey Chicken Wings

Ingredients
- Chicken Wings
- Jack Daniels Honey
- ¼ cup Butter (unsalted)
- ¼ cup Hot Sauce
- ¼ cup honey (spray measuring cup with cooking spray so honey doesn't stick)
- A few splashes of liquid smoke(optional)
Instructions
Jack Daniels Hot Honey Sauce
- On med-low heat - Add your butter to a pot or skillet.
- Once melted, add in your honey and hot sauce and mix well.
- Add in your Jack Daniels Honey. I add half now and half later so that I can taste the Jack Daniels, but you can add it all here if you want.
- Let simmer for 5-10 minutes at a simmer to thicken.
- Add in remaining Jack Daniels and stir.
Chicken Wings
- Let chicken wings brine in salt water for a couple of hours or overnight.
- Pat chicken wings dry with a paper towel
- Coat wings in seasoned flour - season with salt, pepper, cajun seasoning, garlic powder
- Spray wings with a coating of olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado oil
- Let wings rest for 5 minutes on a wire rack
- Add your floured chicken wings to your air fryer. DO NOT stack or overcrowd
- Cook at 400 for 25-30min - flip half way through and spray chicken lightly with cooking spray if you seem any remaining white flour when you flip halfway through
- Toss the wings immediately in your Jack Daniels Hot Honey Sauce
