Community Guidelines
Yooo. This chat is for the fam: Charlotte folks who love food and want to talk about it, plan meetups, and put each other on to good spots. Keep it that way and we're good.
Be cool to each other
Disagree about food all you want. No harassment, hate, threats, or personal attacks. No slurs of any kind.
Keep it about the community
No spam, no unsolicited promo, no dropping your business link in every room. Restaurant owners and vendors are welcome to join the conversation like anyone else. If you want to promote something, hit us up through the vendor program.
Respect people's privacy
Don't post someone else's phone number, address, or private messages. Don't share photos of people without their OK.
Keep it clean
No sexual content, no gore, nothing illegal. Remember younger members of the fam may be reading.
Meetups
Meet in public places. Tha Daily Special organizes some meetups and members organize others; either way, use good judgment and look out for each other.
Reporting and moderation
Every message has a Report option. Our mods and staff can remove messages, mute, or remove people from the chat, and we act on reports within 24 hours. Repeat or serious violations mean losing chat access or your account. You can also block anyone and you'll stop seeing their messages.
Your stuff
You can delete your own messages any time. We keep chat history so the community can look back on recommendations and plans.
