Honey Garlic Salmon
This sweet and savory salmon recipe is sure to be a hit. It only takes a few minutes to make and is a great weeknight meal to meal prep with.
Ingredients
- Fresh Salmon
- Avocado Oil
- 2 tablespoon All Purpose Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
- 2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- ¼ stick Butter
Honey Garlic Sauce
- ¼ - ½ cup Honey
- 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- ½ Lemon (juiced)
- 4 cloves Garlic (finely minced or paste)
- 1 Green Onion
Instructions
Prepare Honey Garlic Sauce
- Add soy sauce, honey, lemon juice, garlic, & green onion to a bowl and mix thoroughly. Set aside.
Salmon
- Combine all purpose seasoning, cajun seasoning, pepper and paprika in a bowl
- Rub salmon filets with avocado oil
- Season both sides of salmon with your seasoning mixture
- Add a bit of oil and butter to your skillet on medium high heat
- Once pan is hot, add your salmon top side down first and sear for 3-4 minutes
- Flip the salmon and reduce heat to medium
- Add in ¾ of your honey garlic sauce
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes while basting sauce over salmon
- Add the salmon in the oven and broil for 1 -2 minutes to carmalize sauce (optional)
- Brush on remaining sauce
